I will definitely post my results.

But first I have to find a place in my crowded system to put
these big puppies. They are certainly among the largest piece of
audio iron I've ever seen. I don't understand how a telephone
company in the middle ages decided to make a transformer with such
amazing bandwidth!

Look what I just found on reverb:

So I guess I should be very glad I happen to have a pair that
cost me nothing!

Best wishes,

"color" are you expecting out of these guys? They are basically
just nice transparent transformers. We use them all over the place

One nice thing is you can easily do +24 dBu or more into them w/o
them going into saturation. As there is less iron in the Jensen
transformers, it would be interesting to see where they top out
compared to the 111c

Hola, Guys. I’ve got a pair of these
sitting around doing nothing. I’m sure their effect will be
subtle but it might be nice to package them into a passive box
for their color in a mastering session.

To vary their color would you have any suggestions on switchable
buildout or termination resistors or zoebel networks I might
want to add to the box, in addition to hard wire bypass?

Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
