Pinnae shape and intramural distance are two of very many other variables, including pinnae placement and distance from skull, head and face shape, nose, throat and sinus cavities, etc.

<p class="">A personalized HRTF is no longer challenging to acquire. It can be done with a video or a few still photos of your ears, plus one measurement. I've beta tested them myself, and they work.</p>
