Well,</p><p class=MsoNormal>the answer to both of these questions is a resounding yes.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Keeping up a tradition started by Gabe Wiener (author of the</p><p class=MsoNormal>rec.audio.pro FAQ and originator of the Pro Audio list) around</p><p class=MsoNormal>1995, we're happy to announce the 2019 edition of the</p><p class=MsoNormal>rec.audio.pro/Ampex/ProAudio list get-together in New York</p><p class=MsoNormal>in a couple weeks. If you are attending the AES and would</p><p class=MsoNormal>like to join us, the group will be meeting at 6pm on Friday,</p><p class=MsoNormal>Oct 18 at the Josephson booth. We will then be proceeding </p><p class=MsoNormal>en masse to a yet-to-be-defined Chinese, Korean, or Malay</p><p class=MsoNormal>restaurant.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I know Friday is a problem for some people but it avoids the </p><p class=MsoNormal>Heyser lecture and most of the vendor dinners. We're not asking</p><p class=MsoNormal>for solid sign-ups but let us know if you are coming if you can.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>No, there will be no dinner at Ars Nova this year, unfortunately,</p><p class=MsoNormal>but we will find a place that is very good.
