[ProAudio] Mastering and monitoring for spatial audio

Having compared these to the ideal way (e.g. measure your head in the room), it’s better, but still has a way to go.

Pinnae shape and intramural distance are two of very many other variables, including pinnae placement and distance from skull, head and face shape, nose, throat and sinus cavities, etc.

The best results I’ve found have been with the Smyth Realiser, which is why I use it myself and help them promote the technology.
